DiveHQ Auckland was having increasing competition from other franchisees who had split from the group to go out on their own. Unsure about their brand equity and how to create a unique selling proposition which clearly represented their personalised approach to training and diving, the company approached Max Marketing to pivot the business and retain their position as market leaders.
We went back to the beginning of the journey with the team, discovering what made them different was their desire to share with Kiwis the amazing underwater world on their doorstep. We helped them strip back their communications to start genuinely connecting with their audiences in a more authentic and personal way, that resonated with their new clients. We helped them with bringing their visual identity up to date and freshening the style of their comms to engage with their younger audience.
Once the plan was laid out, the in house team led by Michelle followed each step and saw the fantastic changes to client engagement as their confidence in their new marketing skills and tools grew.
It was great to see the company work with the plan and to get the results they were after.
Since our initial work with the DiveHQ Auckland team in 2018, we have seen them grow both in skill and confidence and get great results. Unfortunately like many businesses they were struck by the issues presented with Lockdowns and we are now on a new journey to pivot other parts of their business to ensure they can bring their passion for the Ocean to as many people as they can in 2022 and beyond.
