When I began my career I found that I was a natural salesperson and finding the right collateral and target audience for products and services was instinctive. When faced with a challenge, I instinctively go and self-educate to find answers. This led me to ‘How to write a marketing plan’ and the opportunity to thought leadership in the professional services industry as B2B marketing was being developed as a separate discipline.
Later, I was at the leading edge of CRM working with Peppers and Rogers (who coined the phrase 1to1 Marketing) as that was being developed and again a third time as Social Media Marketing was being developed – I’ve been blogging since 2006. I can set up robust processes to underpin your business goals with tactics to be fulfilled by the marketing and sales team.
I can train and educate team members so they understand their part in the bigger picture, so they get up-skilled and confident about delivery.
